I started drawing as most of us do, when I was a child. By the time I was a senior in high school my schedule was filled with art classes, painting being my favorite class. Since then, painting has always been the place I go to find peace. It is my hope that those who view my paintings create their own experience, not understand mine.  I believe an artwork should be a place where we can lose ourselves, a mental utopia that lasts as long as the viewer needs it to last, a place to revisit over and over.
